- What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is often a misunderstood subject. It is actually a safe and natural occurring state, which we enter into several times a day. For example, when we are deep in thought or daydreaming, this altered state of mind is similar to a hypnotic feeling.
When you are in hypnosis, you experience a deep state of mental and physical relaxation. Clients often report feeling refreshed after a hypnosis session or getting a good night’s sleep. Hypnosis really is a lovely, relaxed therapy!
- How does hypnosis work?
During hypnosis, the subconscious part of the mind becomes accessible. The subconscious mind stores our habits, memories and behaviour patterns. During hypnotherapy, positive suggestions are made to replace negative behaviour and thought processes.
Go ahead and make that positive change!
- Am I under ‘control’ during hypnosis?
The answer is No! You are always in control. You cannot do anything against your moral and ethical code. You are not asleep during hypnosis and can choose to come out of hypnosis at any time.
